Single & Multi Port Gauge Valves
A gauge valve sits between the process tapping and the pressure gauge. Its needle-type stem isolates the gauge from line pressure, and a built-in vent / bleed screw releases the trapped pressure so the gauge can be removed, replaced or zero-checked safely while the plant keeps running.
Kalpataru gauge valves are machined from solid bar stock with a back-seated, non-rotating stem tip and an adjustable packing below the threads, so the stem threads never touch the process fluid. Multi port versions add extra outlets for a test gauge, calibrator or second instrument.
- Isolate & vent in one body
- Bubble-tight metal stem seat
- Stem threads isolated from media
- Blow-out proof stem design
- PTFE, Grafoil or PEEK packing
- 100% pressure tested
Gauge Valve Types
Single Port Gauge Valve
One process inlet, one gauge outlet and a plugged vent / bleed port. The standard choice for isolating a single pressure gauge or switch on a process line, pump discharge or vessel nozzle. Straight-through body keeps the installation short and easy to support.
Multi Port Gauge Valve
Adds two or more outlet ports downstream of the isolating stem. Use them to connect a working gauge and a test gauge side by side, hook up a calibrator without breaking the gauge joint, fit a pressure switch, or run a separate vent line to a safe location.

Features & Advantages
Safe Gauge Removal
The vent / bleed screw depressurises the gauge side before the gauge is unscrewed, protecting the technician and the instrument.
Blow-out Proof Stem
The stem is retained by the bonnet and back seats when fully open, so it cannot be backed out of the body under pressure.
Non-Rotating Tip
The stem tip closes onto the seat without spinning, reducing seat galling and giving repeatable shut-off over many cycles.
Full Traceability
Heat numbers are marked on bodies and recorded against mill certificates, with PMI and TPI available on request.
